In recent news Bodog Poker has decided to get rid of the poker rakeback. This decision by the online poker room will greatly affect their affiliates as poker players seek out poker rooms that offer good rakeback deals.
As of June 15th, the Bodog Rakeback plan is no longer available for new sign ups. Those who are Bodog Poker Affiliates will no longer be able to sign poker players up for Bodog Rakeback. Those who decide to remain a promoter for Bodog Poker should be able to earn a revenue share. This is similar to other programs offer through Titan Poker and Party Poker.
Players who are currently signed up via the Rakeback program will continue to earn for affiliates. The only difference will be that those who sign up now and in the future will no longer be earning Rakeback. As stated above affiliates will still be able to promote the online poker room and they will earn a revenue share instead of Rakeback earnings.
